This ancient temple was constructed in 1845 and dedicated to the Goddess Kali (also called Shyamala). This temple is situated at the nearby place of the mall. It is a religious and very beautiful place. The travelers never forget to visit this temple. At first, this temple was located at the Jakhu hill. Later, the British have brought this temple to this new place. Goddess Kali worshipped as Bhadrakali, Bhavani, Durga, Kumari Sati, Chamunda, Meenakshi, Himavati, Parvati, Tara, Kamakshya – in many forms. Many people visit this place on the occasions like Durga Pooja and Navratri.
